“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Joh 3:16.
Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross of Calvary in perfect fulfilment of the Scriptures, (e.g. Isa 53) and His Blood was shed as an eternal sacrifice for the sin of the entire world.
On the third day He rose from the dead, having triumphed over death, sin and satan - and after He showed Himself alive to many witnesses, He ascended into heaven and returned to His place on the throne of heaven in perfect unity with the Tri-une God - from where He will soon return again to judge the world as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The only people who will not fall under His judgement are those who have accepted His blood sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary for their personal sins and have surrendered their lives to Him by faith.
"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil 2:5-11)
Time is running out! Very soon the time of God’s grace will be over –– when the time of God’s judgement will commence.
There are 365 prophecies in the Bible that all went into perfect fulfillment with the first coming of Jesus Christ –– and there are more than 1500 prophecies connected to His second coming. Of these the majority have already gone into fulfillment while the remaining few are currently in an advanced stage of fulfillment.
Consider only one example:
In Joel 2:31,32 we read: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. ..."
Solar eclipses are common occurrences, but there was something different about the solar eclipse of 20th March 2015. A solar eclipse occurred across the North Pole on this date. On March 20, 2015 one of the most important and spectacular celestial events in Norway in our century took place. On the North Pole the Sun became totally eclipsed as it came into view after 6 months of polar night. “This happens only every 400 000 – 500 000 years!” (Photo above left: courtesy of NASA) You can read more here. However, the interesting thing about this solar eclipse is perhaps not it’s rarity across the North Pole, but that it occurred on the 20th of March which was the beginning of the Hebrew month of Nissan -- the beginning of the Biblical calendar year.
Another interesting phenomenon which is in line with Biblical prophecy, are the blood moons. Blood moons are not unique occurrences, but there is something different about the current four blood moons. Four blood moons appear during 2014 and 2015 -- all of them on Jewish religious festivals. The Jewish ceremonial law was fulfilled in Christ when He was crucified on Calvary as the perfect Lamb of God without blemish for the sin of the whole world. What is significant about the third blood moon of 4 April 2015, is that it coincided with the Jewish Passover --- which was fulfilled by Jesus Christ when He was crucified on 3 April 33 AD as the eternal Lamb of God.
Can you really believe the Bible?
Yes, you can really believe and trust the Bible! While many people over the centuries have attempted to discredit the Bible and disprove the facts of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ - none have succeeded! While there is overwhelming evidence to prove every fact of the Gospel as historically accurate, nobody has ever succeeded in proving them wrong! At best critics have succeeded in spreading unreliable rumours that are believed by some who prefer to wish the truth away!
